STEM Activities Class — December 2 Recap

MPower Girls Camp partnered with Pariveda today for an exciting STEM lesson at KB Polk, focused on understanding matter and its properties. The girls began with a short

educational video, then worked in four teams to solve three escape‑room–style puzzles.

Each successful puzzle unlocked a new door—and came with a candy reward.

Attendance increased to **13 girls**, a 30% jump from the October session. Students were

highly engaged, proud of their teamwork, and eager to know when the next class will take place.

photographer Michael Flynn. Beginning February 2026, Bethel‑Anne Osborne will lead the ongoing STEM classes.

This program continues to inspire curiosity, confidence, and a love for hands‑on STEM

learning.
