MPower Girls Camp Joins the Fun at K.B. Polk’s Annual Chili Cook-Off 🌶️

MPower Girls Camp was honored to be invited by Mr. Wallace, Principal of K.B. Polk Elementary, to serve as judges at the school’s Annual Chili Cook-Off—and what a flavorful and festive experience it was!

Six incredible teams brought both the heat and the creativity:

• 🎬 Chiliwood

• 💖 Mean Girls

• 🧪 Noble Gases

• 🚌 Scooby Doo

From imaginative themes and eye-catching decorations to unique chili recipes and delicious toppings, each team clearly poured time, pride, and heart into their creations. It was a true celebration of teamwork and school spirit. Tasting, judging, and sharing our (very humble!) opinions was an absolute joy. While each chili had its own distinct flavor, one thing remained consistent across the board—they were all delicious.

We are deeply grateful to K.B. Polk Elementary for welcoming MPower Girls Camp into their school community and including us in such a joyful event. Experiences like this remind us why strong school partnerships matter and why community engagement remains at the heart of everything we do.
